How do you judge success?

We look at three things: results, insight and fun. Did we achieve the desired results? What was learned? Did we laugh and have some fun along the way?

Do you have a guarantee?

While facilitators are supposed to be neutral, we are not. We are passionate. We want you to hit the ball out of the park. In order to have a stake in the game, we make this promise: if you are not delighted with the quality of our work we will not charge you our professional fees*.

*This promise inspired a particularly interesting conversation with my husband. Ask me about it when we meet.

How do you prepare?

Each client and project is different, so we adapt to each client’s preferences and needs. That being said, when working with intact teams, we like to interview many (often all the participants) in order to gain as much insight as possible. For projects involving public participation, we will work hand-in-hand with the project principals to craft a meeting design that will achieve the desired objectives.

Do you offer nonprofit rates?

Yes, we discount our fees for nonprofit organizations. In addition, each year we select a beginning nonprofit or struggling collaborative to serve pro-bono. Please contact us if you would like to be considered for these services.

When working with you, what do you provide?

When providing facilitation services, we generally provide process-related materials and ask you to provide the content and hospitality-related materials, including handouts and refreshments. When providing training services, we will provide the content related materials as well.
